Tenancy Agreements

When you find a property you wish to move into, you will need to arrange to sign a Tenancy Agreement. Full details of the process can be found here. There is no Administration Fee but a holding amount of 1 weeks rent per tenancy application is required before we can secure the property for you and set up a Tenancy. This amount is then credited towards your protected deposit once the tenancy is signed. More information about the holding amount can be found here.

Additionally, you will also be required to pay a deposit to be protected by a government-backed Protection Scheme. You may also need to pay a retainer or advance Rent. A credit reference and/or employer's reference and/or guarantor is usually required before a Tenancy is confirmed and any costs related to these may be passed to you. These arrangements should be agreed with us to your satisfaction prior to paying the holding amount and before you sign the Tenancy Agreement.

The Law of England & Wales stipulates that no one under the age of 18 years can sign a contract.

The construction, validity, and performance of any letting and/or tenancy shall be governed by the Laws of England.
